This solid third release from Hamilton guitar rock quartet CHROME YELLOW CO. confirms the band’s reputation as one of the tightest, most consistent acts on the steel town scene.  Produced by Chore’s Chris Bell, this is rife with catchy, classic pop melodies, at times reminiscent of early guided by voices, and complex, layered guitar work that occasionally meanders into shoegazing, psych-rock territory.  Strong vocal performances by front man Luca Ciardullo are the norm on this svelte seven-tracks, the briefness of which constitutes the packages only disappointment.
